unloading a railcar to a truck or loading a railcar from a truck.
Transloading involves the function of loading and unloading a rail car and facilitating the
transportation to or from that car.
Since 2001, AIP has offered transloading services. As a public warehouse, We are in
a unique position to couple this service with public warehousing, and distribution logistics
services, if desired.
AIP works closely with the CSX Railroad Logistics division, TRANSFLO. This partnership works
to provide direct rail services to customers without the investment of rail.
Transloading usually involves bulk and commodity shipments. Typical product areas include:
